She peers down at a tall boney model with long bleached hair

I want to look like her someday she bellows

Hair Extensions

The four year old is now seventeen

Her brown eyes are covered over by green contacts

Her freckles disappear underneath thick cover up.

Her crooked buck teeth filed down and straight

Her sweet plump face is sunken in and boney

Is there such a thing as natural beauty?

Film: Shrek

Ordinary World: He takes mud baths and makes beware of ogre signs.  He hates everyone and everyone hates him. 
Call to adventure: His swamp gets covered in fairy tale creatures by lord Farquaard.  So Donkey takes him to find Farquarrd. 
Refusal of the call:  He didn't want donkey to be the one that takes him to Lord Farquaard.
Meeting with mentor:  I guess you could say that Donkey is his mentor, he goes with Shrek and talks his ear off.
Crossing the threshold: He goes to Lord Farquaard's castle and fights all his men.  He sends Shrek on a quest, if he rescues Princess Fiona he will get his swamp back.
Tests, Allies, Enemies: rescuing Fiona from a dragon.  Listening to Donkey talk the whole time.  His Allies are Donkey.  His enemies are the Dragon and Lord Farquaard. 
Approach: He approaches the castle and rescues Pincess Fiona.
Ordeal: He over hears Fiona talking to Donkey about how she could never love someone so ugly.  So he goes himself during the night to get Farquaard and brings him to Fiona. Donkey comes back and tells him that Fiona wasn't talking about him so Shrek and Donkey ride on the Dragon to stop the wedding.
Reward: He tells Fiona he loves her and they kiss and Fiona stays an ogre.
The Road Back: Farquaard tells his men to arrest them both.  He will put Fiona back in the castle and never be let out again.
Resurrection: Donkey comes through the window riding the Dragon and she swallows Lord Farquaard. 
Return with the Ellxir: They kiss and get married. 

The Girl

Everyday I see the same girl at a park bench.  She's there rain or shine.  She's always by herself I never see her with anyone.  I wonder sometimes what she's doing there.  Is she waiting for someone? Is she hiding from someone, something?  I've thought about talking to her.  Maybe one day I'll introduce myself.  I noticed something that she holds in her hand as she sits.  It looks like a tie, why would she have a tie? Today I went by the park, she wasn't there.  She hasn't not been on that bench in 3 months.  Where is she?
